Two rear facing reception rooms were combined to create a large open-plan kitchen, dining, sitting area.  A modest 1.5m deep rear bay extension was added to allow easy access to the garden. The structural alterations needed were carefully co-ordinated  to ensure that no downstand beams or posts are visible in the completed space.
